Representing the contemporary French design, Fourmis Bleues was born on the idea to create unique lighting sources reflecting imagination, poetry, emotion, surprise… and to defend sustainable development by the exclusive use of natural, recycled or renewable materials as well as compact fluorescent (CFL), thereby ensuring energy savings and long life.

Single pieces or small series, all the lightings are hand-made by the French designer Elen Boutang in Rezé near Nantes, signature of a design on a human scale, thus reflecting uniqueness and inviting to “reverie”.

Having become famous in France due do its sustainable development concept and modern design, Fourmis Bleues lightings today are present in over 20 countries worldwide, illuminating luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, boutiques, individual apartments and houses as well as luxury yachts.

Fourmis Bleues has designed 15 collections, each of them including chandeliers, ceiling, table and wall lamps. Most of the lightings are available in several sizes, while customized lightings are also available. All of the products are handmade in France.
