Very interesting article by Charlotte Beading from Examiner.
“As an obsessed crafter, it is time to gather the tools. This is the perfect time of the year to begin to make items for the upcoming fall season. There are designs that have intrigued the senses, but the question is what color to use for these new items.
This is where knowing about certain color forecasting websites can come in handy. There are many different websites that are geared to the fashion industry with a year’s notice, but how does the average beader learn about the new colors; by knowing the website to explore. One of the most important websites that a beader should know about is Fashion Trendsetter. Fashion Trendsetter is known for providing current fashion information including color forecasting.
This website is a great tool to have to get inspiration for designs and to know exactly what colors will be the hottest colors for the season. So what are the colors for Fall 2010? According to Pantone, the names are endive, golden glow, living coral, lipstick red, purple orchid, chocolate truffle, lagoon, woodbine, oyster gray and rose dust. Yes, those names don’t mean much right now, but most people are aware of the color families.”
Make sure to check out the slide show to see a representation of the colors!
